Overview

BioGuard Smart Shock is a multi-functional product that shocks, oxidizes, buffers, and clarifies pool water. It kills and prevents bacteria growth. This product has unique blue algae-fighting crystals that kill unsightly algae. There is no need to mix or pre-dissolve, just add it directly to your pool water. This product has also been proven to improve filter efficiency. Start swimming in as little as 15 minutes after application. Keep your pool water sparkling clear and brilliant looking with Smart Shock.

Dosage

1 lb per 12,000 gallons of water

Directions

  1. Turn the pump on and make sure the equipment is working properly (backwash filter if needed.)
  2. Apply Smart Shock in a circulated area of the pool by broadcasting it as you walk around the pool. Please keep in mind that dosage is 1lb per 12,000 gallons of water.
  3. If you see granular build up in the bottom of the pool please brush the shock in until it dissolves completely. If not, it may tarnish to the finish of the pool.
  4. Please run the pump continuously for at least 48 hours. Keep in mind that it is safe to swim after 15 minutes of application.
